We want to create a world where everyone does what they love – where everyone works with passion to achieve success for themselves and the company. A person can be happy only then when he is doing what he loves and does well.
We want everyone to do what they love and what they do well, so that other work aspects can be delegated to others.
To become the world's best-loved B2B service provider!
We help companies earn more.
At that time Ansis Lipenitis (CEO of Efumo) decided to take a leap and create a company – as it turns out, a good decision, because his goal was not simply to create a company that earns money, but to create the kind of company whose employees love what they do, and whose clients respect and acknowledge that.
Ansis gathered those people whom he trusted – former colleagues and partners – to create the kind of company where the employees have a passion for what they do and the clients respect and acknowledge that. Ansis assembled people he trusted-- colleagues and partners—to create Efumo with him. Each department manager owns 80% of that department; Ansis’ share is 20%. Efumo is comprised of 7 amazing partners who work efficiently and effectively as one.
Ansis believes that only true participation in the progress and development of a firm can motivate people to work with complete effort and enthusiasm.

Initially, all client meetings were held at their offices or other third party locations. Since Efumo was self-funded, it started with a small office on Aluksne street, only to move shortly thereafter to a larger location on Maskava street. Today we have grown and at the moment we are working in several countries.

Efumo does not sell websites, Efumo sells the opportunity to earn more with a professionally created homepage or web system. With applicable communications and marketing services, the company easily differentiates itself from the competition.
In creating web solutions, we don't try to make them into works of art or the pinnacle of modern technology – we create homepages that help our clients achieve their business goals.

For his new company, Ansis wanted to find a pleasant-sounding name that would work in several languages, which isn't tied to any specific type of service, but still can be associated with modernity and the digital age. And so Efumo came to be.

In 2010 the Efumo team received the annual award “Platinum Mouse” for outstanding information and communications technology. The winning project, www.labiedarbi.lv was developed and implemented by Efumo.

Our strategy is to have the best possible specialization in each department contributing to a multifunctional team for new and co-operative projects. For example, we have separate specialists for testing, creative design, technical design, content correction, content creation, design audit, technical audits.
The Chairman of the Board and the Director, together with administrative employees, are responsible for all administrative functions and their organization, while department managers are responsible for the management of the process, quality and project creation within their respective departments.
In all fields we strive to standardize every process: to clearly define a process, and then to follow it. Over time, these standards are improved and supplemented.
In all possible processes we try to use information systems: we have a file server for the exchange of files, a CRM system to store contact and partner information, a helpdesk system for client service, a process management system for production management and others.
If the work can be completed by an employee with a lower hourly rate, then the work must be delegated – this is the basic principle to ensuring efficiency. A person can only work as many hours as are available in a month. On the other hand, a team can accomplish more than the individual people in the team. We base our work on teamwork, not individual abilities.
We don't do everything. For example, our designers don't draw banners – we outsource them, if necessary. Our goal is to be the best at what we do. We focus on those services that we provide, and our goal is to be the best in this field.
We implement new things in the production process and service structure with the idea that this can improve production and increase the quality of the completed work.
The specialists in each service field show better-quality performance than a 'universal soldier'. For example, a project manager does not do trials (this is done by auditors) and does not write requirement specification (this is done by system analysts).

We are continually improving our systems and our processes in order to do the same tasks with even less resources but with the same quality. We use automatization, centralization, standardization, optimization and ousourcing.
The service must be provided to the client comfortably and easily, and that is exactly what we do! We have a helpdesk system, in which clients can register complaints and comments. At the same time they can send e-mails or call in order to meet with their project manager, to discuss progress in person. We let the customer decide what is the best way, instead of demanding that they follow our system.
Centralization of information flow. Independently from how we receive client requests, it all comes back to the helpdesk system. This allows everyone to follow all nuances, to enumerate and ensure fast, high-quality work.
Make suggestions to the client for development. We take the initiative to regularly make suggestions to our clients how they can improve results, how to solve specific business problems.
We invite those who are open to growth and development to our team. We encourage them to attend seminars and conferences, we organize educational and training courses, buy books, organize book fairs – we encourage our employees to participate in continuing education, because only in this way will they provide new ideas and concepts.
Continuing education leads to constant improvement, because as soon as we discover something new, we have ideas about the improvement of processes, services and technologies.
We are not afraid to try new approaches in everything, and to toss away those which are unsuccessful. If we do not make mistakes, we will never start anything new!

We publish much more than any ordinary average company. We use blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and also private conversation. Efumo specialists have also led several seminars in the Latvian Investing and Development Agency, the JIC Business Incubator, several Latvian universities, and more.
We love to try new forms of communication, new styles, messaging services, marketing approaches, in order to choose what is most appropriate for our clients.
We do and create things that we love. For example, for www.makelove.lv we realized an idea that was interesting and fascinating to us.

We never sell and will never sell our clients if we do not believe in the product ourselves. If the client idea or business project is not something that we can support, we express this immediately, even if it means losing business. We sell what we believe, and only if we believe that it will help the client!
Our goal in selling isn't “We must make more deals this month!” Our sales strategy is based on the idea that we need to co-operate with those clients, who will gain the most from our service and who have a strategic role in their field.
We are not afraid of demanding clients. Our communications strategy – successful is he who can compromise and negotiate.
We use bankloans only for long-term investments, and only when absolutely necessary. All our purchases are planned within the scope of our own finances.
We plan our income and expenses for the short-term (3-monthcash-flow plan) and for the long-term (investments and development plan).
We analyze our revenue trends in past quarters to help forecast future cash flow with a goal towards improvement.
We have created and are constantly increasing our savings fund to finance our own expenses, we do not use a line of credit or an overdraft. In this way we feel more secure and more stable.
We are generous with necessary items. In our opinion, the miser pays twice. We invest in good web systems and equipment, and we buy materials and equipment needed by employees to improve their work environment.
We arrange and finance participation in courses and seminars for our specialists, and we regularly supplement the shelves of our library, because it is our view that personal and professional education is of utmost importance.
We prepare development plans for our specialists, we discuss and assist in the achievement of personal goals, which, of course, assists the entire company to reach its communal goals.
We improve our work space both in situation and in opportunity – we organize team-building activities, sports, we improve work places.
Specialists receive bonuses for work well done, birthday greetings, congratulations on graduations and other celebrations.
We hold regular meetings in order to keep everyone informed about the company's status and activities – including overviews of previous financial periods, plans for subsequent periods, positive and negative news.
Ice cream shakes, collective salad-making, honey in the winter and other pleasant details are our daily life.

We maintain the same attitude towards each Efumo client, co-operative partner, employee and provider. If somebody provides us with a service, we acknowledge their work and efforts. For example, every courier, who has been to our office, has been offered sweets – for strength, energy and purely for a positive impression. We observe the principle “Treat others as you would like to be treated”.
We do not organize bidding wars – we speak to a few providers and we choose the one which seems best, not cheapest. Before choosing, we take into account the recommendations of trustworthy partners.
It is in our interest to maintain long-term co-operation with every provider, which is why any problems that may arise must be resolved through communication – in searching for solutions that are advantageous to both sides, not a guilty party.
Our team has experts in the field who constantly acquire knowledge and test their knowledge in practice. This is why our team is being invited to give presentations at universities, business organizations and seminars. They share valuable information with audiences that have far-reaching goals – students, entrepreneurs and various specialists.
